Drug Addiction - Evolving To Be An Epidemic

Addiction is everywhere.  The most dangerous form of addiction is drug addiction. It can ruin the life of the addict and also it can interfere with the normal psychological functioning of everyone around the drug addict.

The demise of the King of Pop instilled feelings of depression and sadness in millions of people who were his fans.  His early demise is attributed to prescription drug abuse which when used in proper proportion as prescribed by the physician should have catered to goodness.

Anything that is good should be taken within limits, when it exceeds the normal dosage then it is going to be harmful.  When this is the fate for the best of the substances around, then what is going to be the fate of those things that are marked bad? It is going to be a life killer indeed.

The horrible thing is that people tend to seek variety in addiction too. They are not happy with just cocaine; they test our marijuana, then methamphetamine and many, many more. They seek variety even for hallucinations.  One drug gives a deeper sense of hallucination than the other!

The end result is the requirement for hospitalization at a stage and eventually a sudden halo to be drug free.  When an addict reaches this stage, there are probabilities for relapse.  To detect relapse and for preliminary identification of drugs several methods of tests have been around and they are many like the single panel tests, two panel tests, three panel tests, up to twelve panel tests.

Well, these are just the preliminary drug tests, when one of these are going to show up positive for one or a mix of drugs, then the test proceeds further to MS and GC procedures. If the addict were truthful of what they did consume then we might not need all such tests; however, they are not going to confess and we do not have an option out.
