Configurations of the One Step Drug Screen Integrated Test Cup consist of combination of Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphemine, Marijuana (THC), Opiates, Phencyclidine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, Methadone, and Ecstasy drug analytes. This assay provides only a preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result. Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) is the preferred confirmatory method. Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to the drug of abuse test result, particularly when preliminary positive results are indicated.

• AllowIntegrated E-Z Test Cup to reach room temperature ( 15-30o C ) prior to testing.
• 1. Open the pouch & remove the kit. Write the client’s name on the lid along with the date & your initials.
• 2. Give the cup/kit to the client. Ask him/her to fill it to at least the minimum fill line. Have the client replace the cap firmly by pressing on all three corners. Check the temperature..it should be between 95 & 100 degrees.
• 3. Activation does not start until you are ready to begin testing. Hold the cup down firmly. Insert the “key” provided in the hole in the side of the cup. Push until the head of the key is against the side of the cup to start testing.
• 4. Peel of the label on the multi-drug test card to view results. Results will begin to appear in about a minute. Read results at five minutes. Do not interpret results after ten minutes.

• POSITIVE RESULT: One red line appears in the Control (C) region. No line appears in the Test (T) region.
• NEGATIVE RESULT: Two red lines appear. One red line should be in the Control (C) region & another red or pink line should be in the Test (T) region. The shade of the red line in the Test region will vary but it should be considered negative whenever there is even a faint pink line.
• INVALID RESULT: Control (C) line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or Incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for the Control line failure.
• LIMITATIONS:
• 1. The One Step test Strip provides only a qualitative, preliminary analytical result. A secondary analytical method must be used to obtain a confirmed result. Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) are the preferred confirmatory methods.
• 2. It is possible that technical or procedural errors, as well as other interfering substances in he urine specimen may cause erroneous results.
• 3. Adulterants, such as bleach and/or alum, in urine specimens may produce erroneous results regardless of the analytical method used. If adulteration is suspected, the test should be repeated with another urine specimen.
• 4. Certain medications/pharmaceuticals/compounds may produce a Positive Result.
• 5. A Positive Result indicates presence of the drug or its metabolites but does not indicate level of intoxication, route of administration or concentration in urine.
• 6. A Negative Result may not necessarily indicate drug-free urine. Negative Results may be obtained when drug is present but below the cutoff level of the test.
• 7. Test does not distinguish between drugs of abuse & certain medications.
